I just have to say about Heroes

WheezingGirl!

Overall, I liked it. I was sufficiently entertained. I like some of where I see things going. I like some of the secrets that were revealed.

But the one thing that perplexed me was the Mohinder story line. I wasn't sure that I saw his character as being someone who would inject himself with an untested compound just to give himself powers. That being said, I found the monkey sex between him and Maya extremely hot.

I am curious to see how his story line will play out with these new development.

I also wonder where they are going to go with the Syler/Mrs Patrelli storyline. What she speaking literally or figuratively? I wonder if they are going to pull a switcharoo and make Syler end up a good guy by the end of this story.

Well... I think it was OK. Some parts were awesome and others were meh. Mohinder and Maya bore me to tears, so the only that caught my attention was the Spider-Maning and of course the sex. Still, Mohinder does the stupidest shit so maybe we will get lucky and he will die.

I loved Hiro and the speedster. I always like speedsters though.
I used to hate Sylar but now I realize he's a pretty good villain.
The revelation that he's Mrs. Patrelli's son was a bit absurd, just how many damn kids did she have, that woman? It was treated as if it was the 'big reveal' and it was, but it was a bit much to swallow.

Nikki is ok, I wonder what the deal is with her, Greg needs developing too, for him to be an effective character. One part I did love was all the 'super-villains' escaping and lightning Ando was neat too.

The Mohinder As Mad Scientist plot actually didn’t surprise me at all. Whether by design or not, I’ve gotten the impression through much of the previous two seasons that his motivation has been in great part to find a way that he might himself be special.

I grow bored with the world on the brink of total destruction story lines, they seem to be the same every year. The subplot with the escaped prisoners holds more interest to me.

Maya annoyed me less, what I saw of her anyway; I hope they really retooled her character, she was so hopelessly spineless and brainless last year. I'm not thrilled to see Nikki come back. Though I am happy to see a potential romance between future Peter (preferable to present Peter) and Claire, if for no other reason than to guarantee we never see her boyfriend from season two ever again.

I'm not sure the network would go for a Claire/Peter romance, considering they are related.

Ah yes, you're right. I had completely forgotten about that. Although that was sort of what it was looking like to me. Oh well. Just please keep that old boyfriend away, its all I want.

I agree with most that has been already said. It was entertaining and I will keep watching. I, too, get bored to tears by Maya and Mohinder. I got the impression the reason for this storyline to give him powers is to keep him on the show. There are *so many* characters on it already that there isn't much point to keeping characters that don't have powers.

In discussing the episode with a friend of mine, I learned these episodes ripped off plots from an amazing number of comics already out there. I hope the show offers us something new and original. I will keep watching either way though.

Didn't surprise me about the Sylar/Mrs Petrelli thing. It's absurd, yet fits.

And I really wish they would leave the Nikki/Tracy character off the show. She bugs me. The others are so much more interesting.

I don't mind if it is a ploy to keep him on the show - as long as there is a lot more hot monkey sex.
