Hi loyal readers. I know it is Tuesday already but I thought I would give you a recap of our trip to Savannah over the weekend. So...without further ado:

I know the official holiday isn't until tomorrow, but I wanted to go ahead and post. I wasn't sure I'd have time for posting tomorrow, since it is such a big day.

Valentine's Day is more than just a hallmark holiday for me and oneandonlymatt. Tomorrow is our 13th anniversary. Seriously, each and every day together has been more wonderful than the last. Looking at our past, I can't say enough "thank yous" to apocalypso23 for giving me the encouragement to ask Matt out. Matt and I have done so many awesome things together. We make an amazing team. Moving to Atlanta was the best thing we ever did and it made us closer than before. Now looking to our future I can't wait to discover all the wonderful things that we can do. Just in the last year we've claimed a big chunk of our dreams by buying Mt. Matt. I can't imagine my life without Matt.

We're going out to dinner at our favorite restaurant near home. It is called Bistro and is just such a great place where the most awesome bartender in all of East Cobb knows us (Shout out to Stefan!).

This weekend we're going to Savannah for Savannaversary! Yay.

Here's to Forever!

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to say "Happy Valentine's Day" to everyone. As you probably know by know, today is also the anniversary of the very first date for oneandonlymatt and me. Today marks 12 years together. (Hey, since we're not legally married, we have to celebrate something, right?) Yay us. And I love him just as much if not more today than I did then. I am a very lucky Wheezy to have a wonderful partner like him.

We are going to Medieval Times. If you haven't heard that story already (because I'm gushy and I probably already told it to you all a million times) here it is. Matt said to me last week, "I made our Valentine's day reservations but it's silly and you'll never guess where we're going." And I said, "The only thing I can think of is Medieval Times..." and I was right. I guess after a dozen years two people know each other pretty well.

So I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day. Say "I love you" to all your sweeties and really mean it. Love is such a good thing.
