I am so freaking excited. I just found out about Among the Oak and Ash. One of my favorite artists of all time, Josh Joplin, has teamed up with another musician, Garrison Starr, to make a super cool new album of Appalachian folk music. I couldn't be more excited. I saw Garrison Starr open for Josh Joplin here in Atlanta a couple of years ago. One of the songs on their myspace page is "Shady Grove". Josh Joplin sings it at the begining of his song "Ten Feet Small" which would actually be one of my all time favorite songs.

I just need to know when the album will be available for me to own and when they are coming down to play at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta!
